Call for Art:
Black & White: A Juried Photography Exhibition
Calling all South Bay Art Association photographers! Join us for this exciting exhibition highlighting Black and White photography, which so dramatically captures light, shadow and form. Open to any subject matter, but must strictly be black and white!
All photographic processes are welcome including digital, film, cyanotype, pinhole, drone, alternative process. AI generated work is not permitted.
Only one piece may be submitted, per artist.
2D Submission Criteria:

Minimum size:11” x 14" / Maximum size: 16” x 20"

Provide outside dimensions of framed artwork.

Black or White frames are preferred.

All work must be D-ringed, and wired (no sawtooth or eye hooks please)

Work may be installed using Command Strips/Command Strip Hooks. If work is framed, acrylic plexiglass is recommended by SBAA.

SBAA is not liable for any damage that may occur to frames from Command Strips. Our Exhibition Committee will do our best to ensure the safety of all pieces submitted.
Where: This group exhibition will be held at The Cheese Patch in Patchogue Village

Due to limited gallery space, this exhibit will be juried. Artists will hear back shortly after the above deadline date via email with acceptance/ details.
Drop off: Thursday, January 9th at 4:00pm at The Cheese Patch- 20 E Main St, Patchogue, NY 11772

The Cheese Patch is not able to receive mailed or shipped artwork - please make arrangements to hand deliver your artwork to the location at the designated time. If you want to participate but cannot make the drop-off or pick-up, please coordinate with another member to bring or retrieve your artwork. Because we are all volunteers, we cannot provide alternate arrangements and will not be responsible for the storage of artwork. Anyone who drops off or picks up artwork outside the designated times provided will NOT be permitted to exhibit with SBAA.

Pick up: Thursday March 6th at 5-5:30pm
NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE THROUGH ONLINE FORM.
