SBAA member, Jacqueline Dupré presents “Knots”, a solo exhibition on view at The Cheese Patch in Patchogue Village. This unique collection of cyanotypes will be up for viewing and purchase for the month of August and Sept.

An Artist statement from Dupré herself…

“Knots is a study in pattern, texture and the fine craft of handmade lace-making through the art of cyanotype processing.

Knots pays historical tribute to The Lace Mill of Patchogue. This collection utilizes cyanotype printing, which was commonly used in photograph and blueprint making at the time the mill was in production.

Entwining history with heritage and inspired by the delicate intricacies of the individual knots that form unique patterns, Jacqueline Dupré prints vintage, crocheted lace, each to be admired for their beauty.”
