Calling all South Bay Art Association photographers! Join us for this exciting photography exhibition highlighting the duality between water and earth. This exhibition will be a celebration of Earth’s natural beauty of land and sea as seen through the eye of the photographer.

​

All photographic processes are welcome including digital, film, cyanotype, pinhole, drone, alternative process, color or B&W. AI generated work is not permitted.


Only one piece may be submitted, per artist.
 

2D Submission Criteria:

  • Minimum size:11” x 14" / Maximum size: 16” x 20" 

    • Provide outside dimensions of framed artwork. 

  • Black frames are preferred.

  • All work must be D-ringed, and wired (no sawtooth or eye hooks please) 

  • Work may be installed using Command Strips/Command Strip Hooks. If work is framed, acrylic plexiglass is recommended by SBAA.  

  • SBAA is not liable for any damage that may occur to frames from Command Strips. Our Exhibition Committee will do our best to ensure the safety of all pieces submitted.

Where: This group exhibition will be held at two of our satellite galleries, Brewport Coffee Shop in Bellport and The Cheese Patch in Patchogue.

When:  August 2024

Deadline to apply: Sunday, July 14th

​​

Drop off: Sunday, July 28th at 2:00 pm at Brewport Coffee Shop, 129 S Country Rd, Bellport, NY 11713 (All drop-offs are at Brewport. If your work is selected for The Cheese Patch, a member from the SBAA Exhibition Committee will transport it on your behalf).

  • Brewport Coffee House is not able to receive mailed or shipped artwork - please make arrangements to hand deliver your artwork to the location at the designated time. If you want to participate but cannot make the drop-off or pick-up, please coordinate with another member to bring or retrieve your artwork. Because we are all volunteers, we cannot provide alternate arrangements and will not be responsible for the storage of artwork. Anyone who drops off or picks up artwork outside the designated times provided will NOT be permitted to exhibit with SBAA.

NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE THROUGH ONLINE FORM.
