About the artist
Over the past 50 years, my artistic journey began with commissioned portraits. I have evolved into a freer expressive & impressionist style that celebrates the energetic and colorful whimsy of nature.
Long Island’s seasonal vibrancy and beauty, from the bluffs, rolling farmlands, and vineyards of the North Fork to the majestic Atlantic and ocean dunes filled with seagrasses and beach plums, is my inspiration.
Light, joyful emotion, random moments, and unexpected scenes are explored throughout my various collections.
