Maria

Maria is a Brooklyn born second generation American.Drawing and creating from childhood she considers herself fortunate to have attended Erasmus High, that was also an art and music preparatory school at the time. There she was given exposure and instruction to many art disciplines by talented practicing professional artists.

While raising her family on Long Island and working in the medical field Maria always made time for art. Now retired, she devotes her time to watercolors and mixed media. Her love of the beaches and nature she has been surrounded by through her life, as well as the love she has for animals, are evident in a majority of her work today.
